Chisa Pani Nagarkot trek combines the finest aroma of nature with typical village life, stunning mountain view, sunrise and sunset view and myriads of mid hill wonders of Nepal. This trek commences with a short drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal, a famous hangout and one of best Kayaking spot located at 15 km northeast of Kathmandu. Due to its easy accessibility, tranquil setting and majestic landscapes, many domestic and international tourists visit this area every year. Sundarijal region falls inside the province of Shivapuri National Park, which is well known for stunning waterfalls, cool shades, tall trees, beautiful streams, wildlife and birds.
Leaving few cultural settlements behind, we hike through tranquil forest all the way to Chisapani, the final destination of first day trek. Chisapani is inhabited by the unique mixture of Brahmins, Gurung and Sherpa. It is well recognized for spectacular and close view of long Himalaya range stretching from Langtang to Gaurishankar range.
On second day of trail, we walk through some ethnic communities and mostly dense forest, listening the chorus of birds and enjoying the stunning mountain scenery. All along through Sivapuri National Park with few settlements, we reach Nagarkot, the popular hotspot of tourism. If weather permits, it offers an extended view of Himalaya, stretching from Dhaulagiri in the west to Mt. Everest and Mt. Kanchenjunga in the Far East. Nagarkot is well-known for spectacular sunrise view. Wakeup early in the morning to experience the charming glow that Himalayan range radiates, when the fresh rays of newly-born sun strikes it. Watching sunrise awards you with the feeling of rejuvenation to start a new day with a new life. Finally, we drive back to Kathmandu and conclude our trek with tons of memories.
Day 01: Arrival day at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
Day 02: Drive to Sundarijal and trek to Chisapani – 5 hours
Day 03: Trek to Nagarkot – 7 hours
Day 04: Drive from Nagarkot to Kathmandu or hike from Nagarkot toChangunararyan and drive to Kathmandu.
