Day01: Arrival in Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport

Upon you arrival in Kathmandu, Tirbhuvan International Airport, Aimway Tour’s airport representative will receive you and transfer you to the hotel. Take some time to rest and freshen-up.

Your trip guide will meet you and provide the brief description about next day’s trip.

Day02: Kathmandu: Sightseeing and trip preparation day

After breakfast, visit Pashupatinath (significant Hindu temple complex), Boudhanath (largest Tibetan-Buddhist stupa), Swayambhunath (2,000 years old monkey temple) and Durbar Square (ancient Nepalese Palace). These all sites carries great values and highly venerated by both Hindus and Buddhist followers of the country.

Day03: Drive from Kathmandu – Chitwan National Park (5 hours)

After breakfast, we take a drive through the winding road alongside the Trishuli River to Chitwan (175 km). On the way, you will get the fascinating glimpse of countryside lifestyle, terraced fields, verdant hills, rivers and more. After check-in to the hotel, there will be briefing on the activities we will be engaged in during our stay in Chitwan. In evening, we will enjoy the dinner along with a brief cultural program showcasing the traditional dances.

Day04: Full day Jungle adventure in Chitwan National Park

After breakfast, we will proceed for elephant jungle safari through the lush grasslands to explore the wildlife in its natural habitat. We also visit the elephant stables and even enjoy the elephant bathing. In afternoon, we can a jeep ride deep in a jungle followed by a canoe ride down to the Rapti River. Canoeing is the best way to have the close view of Gharial and Mugger crocodiles along with fresh water dolphins, otters and variety of water birds. Or we can opt for birdwatching or nature walk to get close with wild flora and fauna found in the park.

Day05: Drive from Chitwan National Park – Pokhara (4 – 5 hours)

After morning breakfast, head for bird watching trip in Chitwan National Park. Then we take a drive to Pokahra along the zigzag road with several switchback. Upon arrival in Pokhara, we get the magnificent view of the Himalayas including Dhaulagiri (8,167m/26,794ft), Manaslu (8,156m/26,759ft), Machhapuchhte (6,993m/22,943ft), the five peaks of Annapurna and others. We check-in to the hotel and take rest. In the evening, we can stroll around the streets of Pokhara to enjoy being in one the most beautiful city in Nepal.

Day06: Full day sightseeing of Lake City Pokhara

Early in the morning, we drive to Sarangkot, a hill top town that overlooks the Pokhara valley and offers the grand display of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Here we enjoy the magnificent sun as it rises over the Himalayan horizon. We then drive back to Pokhara and start our tour to cities landmarks.

We visit Davis Falls, a unique waterfall that flows vanishes into a narrow and deep canal which has no end. The Shiva Care which houses a sacred shrine dedicated to Hindu almighty God Siva. Likewise, we also visit Bindabasini Temple and Tibetan refugee camp to explore how the refugee spend their livelihood by producing and trading woolen carpets and other handicrafts. We also enjoy refreshing boating in Phewa Lake, the largest lake in Pokhara and pay homage to Barahi Temple located at an island of the Lake.

Day07: Drive to Milan chowk and hike to Astam village

After breakfast, drive to Milanchowk, Hemja and hike all way to Astam Village. After arrival, explore the traditional houses, organic field and visit some houses to interact with locals. After exploration, hike down to Hemja using same route.

Day09: Drive from Pokhara – Kathmandu (6 hours)

After breakfast, we bid farewell to the beautiful northern skyline of Pokahra and drive towards Kathmandu. We drive along the river bank with spectacular views of hills and countryside lifestyle. Upon arrival at Kathmandu, we take some rest and go for some souvenir shopping. We attend a farewell dinner hosted by Aimway Tours to celebrate the successful completion of the journey.

Day10: Final Departure

Your 10 days Family adventure trip comes to an end. Aimway Tour’s airport representative will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport final departure.
