• Please note that the train journey/s mentioned on the itinerary will be in the 1st Class/Expo Rail /Rajadhani cabin/ Observation Cart or 2nd Class depending on the availability. Kindly also note that the train tickets can only be confirmed 14 days prior to your travel date to Hatton as the Railway Authority will only issue the tickets at this time. If tickets are unavailable you will travel by road. The train departure and journey time can be subject to delays.

Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival and transfer to Colombo. (Approx: 45 minutes’ drive) Explore Colombo City.

Day 02: Proceed to Sigiriya, en route visit Pinnawala elephant orphanage

Day 03: Early morning climb Sigiriya rock fortress, on completion drive to Minneriya national park & do the evening safari

Day 04: After breakfast proceed to Kandy, en route visit Dambulla cave temple.

Day 05: Drive to Bandaranike international airport for departure to Maldives

Day 06: Maldives
