Reaching to height of 6,119m, Lobuche peak climbing is reckoned to be one of challenging trekking peak in Everest region. The climbing trip is the perfect combination of mountain sceneries, cultural discovery and wild adventure; in all a lifetime experience. Lobuche Peak summiting is rated as Alpine V class that involves technical ice-climb: - includes ropes on some section of climb.
First we trek through less-trodden route of Everest region and undertake a new challenging climbing routes as we reach the base camp. Our climbing itinerary is customized to allow proper acclimatization and climbing preparation for safe and successful summit of the peak. As we reach the high base camp at 5,400m, we will be rewarded with majestic view of Ama Dablam, Tawache and other peaks.
Lobuche Peak climbing involves a gradual ascend on a rocky surface up to around 5,770m and includes the use of ice axe and ropes when necessary. The use of ropes rely on the season and the crevasses on the approaches. The fixed ropes is used on most part of climbing trail whereas the main rope is used whenever required. Your climbing leader knows well what to use when.

Pre-climb Training
Our climbing leader will organize a pre-climb training to demonstrate the climbing techniques and the best way to use the climbing gears like ice axe, crampons, harness, ropes etc. We firmly believe that the training will enhance your skills and confidence to summit the peak safely and successfully.

Day 03: Flight to Lukla (2,800m/9,184ft) and trek to Phakding (2,652m/8,700ft) – 40 min flight, 3 – 4 hours trek
Day 04: Phakding – Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft) – 5 – 6 hours trek
Day 05: Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft) – Acclimatization and exploration day
Day 06: Namche Bazaar – Tengboche (3,870m/12,694ft) – 5 – 6 hours trek
Day 07: Tengboche – Dingboche (4,360m/14,300ft) – 5 – 6 hours trek
Day 08: Dingboche: Acclimatization
Day 09: Dingboche – Lobuche (4,940m/16,207ft) – 5 – 6 hours trek
Day 10: Lobuche – Gorak Shep (5,170m/16,961ft): Explore Everest Base Camp (5,364m/17,594ft) – 6 – 7 hours
Day 11: Gorak Shep – Kala Patthar (5,545m/18,192ft) and trek back to Lobuche (4,940m/16,207ft) – 7 – 8 hours
Day 12: Lobuche – High Camp (5,400m/17,712ft) – 3 – 4 hours
Day 13: Lobuche High Camp – Summit (6,119m/20,070ft) – back to High Camp – 8 – 10 hours
Day 14: Contingency/reserve day
Day 15: Lobuche High Camp – Pangboche (3,930m/12,900ft) – 8 – 9 hours
Day 16: Pangboche – Namche Bazaar – 4 – 5 hours
